Greasemonkey For Google, YouTube

By Sherri June 06, 2006

YouTubeYouTube and Google Video have gotten more user friendly, a lot more, thanks to a creative programmer with a disdain for Flash's shortcomings.

Sandbox Films has a nifty script out for users of both services who want to download video files for offline viewing or synching to devices such as the PSP, video iPod and so on.

The scripts have been updated multiple times as Google continues to tweak its system, but they seem to be keeping up with the times to get around that pesky Flash video problem.

The scripts for download require the Greasemoneky extension for Firefox, and of course, Firefox.

Check it out by clicking here.
