"Big Brother All-Stars" 24 Hour Live Feed

Fans of reality television, CBS is finally giving the you a more realistic experience. The popular “Big Brother 7 All Stars” premiered this week. They have kicked off the new season with a lot of web exposure. This season’s Big Brother will be carried on both CBS’s innertube and on RealNetwork.
The coverage on CBS’s broadband site innertube will include a free streaming rebroadcast of the each episode that will be available 24 hours after the regular broadcast on CBS. Innertube will also have a talk show centered on the show. “House Calls” will interview the contestants and guests from the show and gives the viewers a chance to ask questions through email. CBS hopes that this will boost its digital market and give fans what they want.
The biggest move towards making Big Brother closer to what it is supposed to be is the deal that CBS has made with RealNetworks. RealNetworks will offer a subscription service that allows 24 hour video streams fro the Big Brother house. The service cost $14.99 per month or $39 for the whole three month season. This allows fans to watch live feeds from four different cameras in the house. These cameras can be viewed one at a time or in a special four way spilt screen. This is really a huge leap in reality television and goes back to the 24 hour video webcam sites of the 90’s. These kind of went out of fashion or changed into a porn style webcast but now anyone who was missing watching someone brush their teeth can once again be a voyeur. The producers have kept some control and will delay some feeds if there is some time sensitive or extra exciting material that they want to air on CBS first.
