JumpTV Adds 66 New Partners

By Sherri

JumpTV, with its incredible international flavor, has expanded its already impressive offerings. The online viewing site has added 66 new channel partners.
This brings JumpTV's list of partners up to an impressive 204, with 194 of those being exclusive. The expansion seems to be hurting the company's bottom line a bit right now, but if it pays off, it's likely to pay off big.
The JumpTV site has channels from all over the globe - minus the United States - and has special viewing packages designed for viewers interested in programming from different regions. The all-Arab package, for example, provides viewers access to 17 online channels for $24.95 a month.
In the last quarter, Jump has added some major players to its lineup. Sony Entertainment Television Asia has signed on, along with Dubai TV and even Peru's America TV.
With channels coming from locations such as Bosnia, Korea and Kenya, the site is anything but ordinary.
Company CEO G. Scott Paterson has been quoted as saying "We are committed to our succinct strategy of: (a) increasing our leadership position in the number of exclusive channel partnerships worldwide and; (b) contemporaneously creating the best user experience in the world, and (c) beginning an aggressive subscriber acquisition/marketing roll-out."
With Jump growing in leaps and bounds, it seems Paterson intends to put his money where his mouth is.
