Innertube Premiers 'The Papdits'

By Sherri

CBS' Innertube has launched a new production from writer and product Ant Hines. "The Papdits" is a "comedy/reality hybrid" that follows the life of a newly arrived family in America.
The Papdits come to the good old U.S. of A from India to start life anew with their two teenage children and the wife's mother. All the while, the family is followed by a documentary film crew, which results in some pretty funny moments.
Gopi, the father, wants to buy a crystal mine in America. He's convinced it will be a great enterprise. The only thing is, he seems to have quartz crystal confused with crystal meth. Some pretty funny moments ensue as he talks to a mine owner and his wife about purchasing their property.
Also amusing is a scene in which the family discusses the purchase of a houseboat. Seems Gopi wants to do in his mother-in-law.
A little hokey and a whole lot goofy, "The Papdits" can be found on Innertube and also on Verizon Wireless V CAST subscribers.
Hines, by the way, was involved in HBO's "Da Ali G Show."

I don't think it was all that funny. The american ppl did not fall for it. Unlike kazhakstan, indians have a more pronounced presence in the united states. It did not look like any of the americans fell for it like they did to the antics of borat. This is a cheap imitation of the ali g and borat. And totally sub-standard comedy.
