‘24’ Countdown Under Way

With exactly 12 days to go until the two-night, four-hour premiere of “24” season six kicks off, fans are starting to get a bit itchy to find out what happens to Jack Bauer next.

The action-packed drama starring Kiefer Sutherland makes its triumphant return to the little screen Jan. 14 at 8 p.m. EST on Fox and follows it up with a second part Jan. 15.

As the clock ticks down (too slowly for many), Fox has a darn good Web site put together to give fans a taste of the impending action. The “24” site includes links to the season six trailer, a message board, photo gallery, behind-the-scenes looks at the show and more. There’s even a great episode guide to help those who haven’t seen the show catch up in time for the fireworks.

If you haven’t checked the Golden Globe-nominated show, it’s available online through iTunes, MySpace, Unbox and other similar sites. Fox has some streaming episodes, and the network is even replaying the show from the start in some markets. There's also a prequel on Brightcove.

The action returns Jan. 14. Twelve days to go!
