CBS Shows Get Into The Game

The countdown clock for the Super Bowl is ticking away. As the Colts and Bears line up on the field tomorrow, several CBS vehicles are gearing up to show their spirit with special appearances from some major NFL legends.

Emmitt Smith of Dallas Cowboys fame will appear on “How I Met Your Mother,” Feb. 5 as himself. It seems Barney will tackle Smith for information on the final score of the big game. The show can be found online here.

“The Class” will also feature some big football action when Jerry Rice pays a visit to Nicole and Yonk’s home. Rice is a legendary San Francisco player who held a multitude of records in such things as receptions, receiving, touchdowns and more.

Both sound like they'll be pretty good episodes. Hats off to CBS for pulling in such big stars. Of course, CBS also nabbed rights to air the big game so kudos all the way around.
